Introduction
The Teaching Volunteer Program at Extent Community Smiles aims to improve access to quality education by supporting learning activities in schools and colleges. Through this program, volunteers contribute to strengthening academic performance, motivation, and learning environments for students while supporting local educators.
Program Overview
This program is implemented in government and private schools, as well as middle-level colleges, within Arusha City. Volunteers work alongside teachers and academic staff to support classroom instruction, tutoring, mentoring, and extracurricular learning activities. The program focuses on enhancing knowledge, confidence, and educational outcomes for students.

Accommodation
Extent Community Smiles provides safe, comfortable, and well-organized accommodation for Teaching Program volunteers in Arusha.
Volunteers receive full-board services, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, provided daily at our volunteer house. The accommodation is equipped with essential living facilities such as furnished rooms, clean water, electricity, sanitation facilities, and a secure environment.
Our housing is conveniently located to allow easy access to schools and colleges, ensuring volunteers are well-supported and comfortable throughout their teaching experience.
Available Dates
The Teaching Volunteer Program is open throughout the year, with the highest demand during active academic terms, before schools and colleges close for holidays. Volunteers are encouraged to join during school and college sessions to maximize impact.
