 INTRODUCTION

The Community Development Volunteer Program at Extent Community Smiles is dedicated to improving the quality of life of underserved communities through participatory and sustainable development initiatives. This program empowers local communities by addressing social, economic, and educational challenges while promoting self-reliance and inclusive growth.

 Program Overview

This program operates across the Arusha Region, including Arusha District, Arumeru District, and Longido District. Volunteers work closely with community members, local leaders, and partner organizations to support initiatives focused on education, health awareness, youth empowerment, women empowerment, environmental conservation, and livelihood development.

What to Expect from the Program

Volunteers can expect a dynamic and meaningful experience that includes:

Accommodation

Extent Community Smiles provides safe, comfortable, and well-organized accommodation for Community Development volunteers during their stay in the Arusha Region. Our volunteer housing is designed to create a supportive and welcoming environment where volunteers can rest, connect, and prepare for daily community activities.

We offer full-board accommodation, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with nutritious meals prepared daily. The houses are equipped with essential facilities such as furnished rooms, clean water, electricity, sanitation facilities, and secure surroundings to ensure a comfortable living experience.

The accommodation is strategically located within Arusha, allowing convenient access to project areas in Arusha, Arumeru, and Longido Districts. Our goal is to ensure that volunteers feel safe, comfortable, and fully supported throughout their volunteering journey.
